The Agricultural University of Iceland was pleased to welcome the Finnish Ambassador to Iceland, Ville Cantell, to its Hvanneyri campus last week. During the visit, the Ambassador learned about the university’s research activities, educational opportunities, and research infrastructure.

AUI enjoys strong cooperation with Finnish universities and research institutions through our EnCHiL MSc programme, the UNIgreen Alliance, and the long-standing NOVA network.

These partnerships provide valuable opportunities for students, staff, and researchers to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and strengthen international connections.

We look forward to further developing and expanding our cooperation with Finnish partners in the years ahead.
