Projects and responsibility
- Development of internationally recognized research in the field of restoration ecology and related disciplines within environmental sciences

Publication of peer-reviewed scientific articles and active participation in national and international research collaboration

Acquisition of research funding in the field of restoration ecology and establishment of strong research groups

Active participation in the LIFE project Peatland-LIFEline.is

Participation in teaching and in the development of study programmes at the Agricultural University of Iceland, as well as supervision of students in research projects

Teaching and supervision of students at the GRÓ Land Restoration Training Programme and

Active participation in professional development and institutional capacity building within the university
Skills requirement
- PhD in Restoration Ecology or related environmental science disciplines

Experience in research and work related to restoration ecology and sustainable land use

Publications in recognized international academic forums

Strong collaboration skills and communication abilities
