SupBiotech Paris, in collaboration with the UNIgreen network, is hosting a cutting-edge Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) focusing on sustainable cosmetic formulation. This intensive, five-day course, titled "From Skin Science to Sustainable Cosmetic Formulation," is designed to equip students with essential knowledge in biology, formulation techniques, and green chemistry.

The in-person activities for the BIP will take place from January 19 to 23, 2026 at the SupBiotech Paris campus, located in Villejuif, France. Virtual activities are also planned, with dates to be confirmed.

Curriculum and Learning Objectives
The program focuses on providing practical experience in sustainable cosmetic innovation and smart formulation through courses, workshops, and collaborative projects. Key learning objectives include:
- Understanding skin and capillary biology and associated disorders.
- Learning to formulate a solid product (soap) from raw materials to experimental design.
- Proposing key ingredients adapted to specific skin needs.
- Gaining knowledge on the global environmental impact of the chemical industry.
- Exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can support sustainable formulation strategies.
The schedule includes expert lectures such as "Skin Physiology" (Ranesha Goorochum), "Use of AI in Sustainable Formulation Strategy" (Robin Cisneros), and a practical lab on "Practical work-soap formulation" (Elsa Pomés).
Prerequisites and Application
Participants should have a profile with scientific or marketing training and an interest in the cosmetic sector, seeking knowledge on the biology of the skin, scalp, and hair, as well as the technical fundamentals of cosmetic product development.

The program includes accommodation from January 18 to 23, 2026, at the Ecla Residence (located 2 minutes from campus), meals (5 breakfasts and lunches, 1 dinner), a local transportation card, and a cultural activity in Paris.
