The Nordic Borealization Network (NordBorN) is a five-year project funded by NordForsk that will establish a collaboration platform across the Nordic countries to understand the implications of borealization in Nordic terrestrial ecosystems. We aim at understanding the drivers, patterns and consequences of the rapid changes occurring at higher latitudes linked to the shifts in species distributions from boreal biomes to the tundra.

The NordBorN consortium includes 6 Nordic universities and 3 associated partners, but welcomes collaboration with a broader network, to establish a strong platform for scientific collaboration. One of the key emphases of NordBorN is on training the next generation of ecologists in the Nordic countries.

An open meeting will be held at the Agricultural University campus in Keldnaholt, Reykjavík and on Teams [Link here] on Friday March 8, at 10:00
